What is the Audiobook Feature?
This feature allows you to listen to any post or story available on the website instead of reading it.
So if you don’t want to read or don’t have time, you can simply press the play button and listen to the same content as audio.
It basically converts every post into an “audiobook”, so you can listen anytime, anywhere.
How to Start Audiobook?
You will see a 🎧 (headphone) button on the bottom or side of the screen.
Clicking this button will open the audiobook player.
Now you just need to press ▶ play and the audio will start.
If you are listening for the first time, it will start from the beginning.
Understanding the Audiobook Player
The audiobook player is a small control panel that contains all important options.
It includes:
- Play, Pause, and Stop buttons
- Speed control option
- Voice selection option
- Progress bar (how much you have listened)
This player is designed to be simple and user-friendly so anyone can use it easily.
How do Play, Pause, and Stop work?
▶ Play: Starts the audio or continues from where it was last paused.
⏸ Pause: Temporarily stops the audio. When you return and press play again, it continues from the same position.
⏹ Stop: Completely stops the audio and resets it to the beginning for the next play.
These three controls give you full control over the audio playback.
How to Resume from where you left off?
If you stop listening in the middle or leave the page, your progress is automatically saved.
When you come back, you will see a message asking:
👉 Do you want to continue from where you left off?
👉 Or start from the beginning?
If you select “Continue”, the audio will resume from the same point.
Progress Bar and Navigation
The player shows a progress bar indicating how much audio you have listened to.
You can also use it for navigation.
If you want to jump to a specific part, just click on the progress bar and audio will start from that point.
How to change Speed?
Everyone listens at different speeds, so speed control is provided.
You can choose:
- 0.8x → for slow listening
- 1x → normal speed
- 1.2x / 1.5x → faster listening
If you are finding difficulty in understanding, use slower speed. If you want to finish quickly, use faster speed.
How to choose Voice?
You can choose from different voices available in your device or browser.
Some voices are male, some female, and some are in different languages.
Choose the clearest and easiest-to-understand voice as per your preference.
Correct Language & Audiobook Matching (Very Important)
This is the most important part of this feature, read carefully.
👉 The website language decides the audiobook language.
👉 Usually it matches your device language, but you can also change it.
Example:
- If website is in Hindi → audio will be in Hindi
- If website is in English → audio will be in English
Important Rule:
- You must select a voice that matches the same language
- If language and voice do not match, audio will not work properly
After changing language:
If you change language (e.g., English → Hindi or vice versa), this usually happens when someone was listening in one language for a long time and now wants reading and listening in another language.
1. The language must be installed on your device first
2. MiMiFlix may take 10–20 minutes to recognize and prepare the new language
3. After that, refresh the page or wait for some time and refresh again
If it still does not work, wait a little longer and refresh again.
Once set properly:
✅ You will be able to listen to all audiobooks in that language without delay
How to install a new language on your device?
If your desired language is not showing, it means it is not installed on your device.
You can easily install it.
Search on Google or YouTube:
- How to install Hindi TTS on Android
- How to add new language in Windows
- How to install text-to-speech voice on iPhone
You can also use Wikipedia, Google Help, or YouTube tutorials.
Note: These are third-party guides and settings may change over time.
How is progress automatically saved?
Whenever you listen to audio, your progress is automatically saved.
So even if you stop in the middle, your position is preserved.
Next time, you can continue from the same point.
Listening while doing other tasks
You can listen to audiobooks only while staying on the same page or tab.
For example:
- You can continue listening while browsing the same page
If you switch to another app or leave the browser tab, the audio will pause automatically.
When you return, you will need to press ▶ play again to continue from where it stopped.
Also, while listening on the same page, the screen will stay active and will not go into sleep or lock mode automatically to ensure uninterrupted experience.
Why does the screen stay on?
When you are listening to audio on the same page, the screen stays active.
This prevents sleep or auto-lock so your listening experience is not interrupted.
What happens when you close the player?
If you close the player, your progress is saved automatically.
Next time you return, you can continue from the same point.
Tips for better experience

- Select correct language and voice
- Start with normal speed (1x)
- Use stable internet connection
