INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the EMERALD WOODS, a place where the trees are ancient and the leaves are always green. In the heart of this forest lives a very special little bird named COCO.
Coco is the spirit of the forest. He has beautiful blue-grey feathers that look like a mix of the morning sky and the evening shadows. He has big, curious eyes and a voice so sweet that it makes every animal smile.
Coco loves the daytime. He loves to eat sweet fruits and play in the golden sunlight. But Coco has a secret: as soon as the sun begins to hide and the sky turns dark, he becomes very, very scared. This is the story of how Coco stopped hiding from the shadows and discovered that the night is actually full of magic.
COCO AND THE MAGIC OF THE NIGHT
A BRAVE LITTLE BIRD’S JOURNEY TO DISCOVER THE BEAUTY OF THE DARK
CHAPTER 1: COCO AND HIS FEAR
In the heart of a vast, thick, and lush green forest, where the roots of ancient trees held the earth firmly and leaves filtered the sun’s rays to the ground, lived a tiny and lovely bird named COCO. He was the symbol of the forest’s life. His blue-grey feathers looked like a blend of the morning sky and the evening shadows, and his mischievous, large eyes were always full of curiosity. There was such sweetness in his chirping that whenever the other animals of the forest, big or small, heard it, a warm smile would appear on their faces. For this reason, he was loved by everyone.
During the day, Coco’s life was full of complete joy and excitement. In his little world, he loved to play, swing on the highest branches of the trees, pick and eat sweet, juicy fruits, and sing beautiful songs with his friends. His time was spent spreading his wings to fly in the sunlight and exploring every corner of the forest.
However, as soon as the sun began to sink below the horizon and the bright colors of the sky changed from deep orange to sad, dark shades, a deep fear would take hold in Coco’s heart. His tiny heart would beat fast with the thought of the darkness. To him, the night seemed very scary—as if it were a giant, invisible monster slowly covering the forest with its black blanket.
As night arrived, the entire mood of the forest changed, and this change disturbed Coco the most. The sweet songs of the daytime birds would stop, and in their place came the sounds of the night—like the sharp chirping of crickets, the scary ‘hoot’ of an owl from far away, and the whispering of the wind rustling through the leaves. The dark, deep sky felt like a vast and unknown mystery, and the strange shadows made by the tree branches made him feel like dangers were hiding in every corner. All these things made him very restless.
While the other birds of the forest slept peacefully and safely in their nests, Coco would sit shivering in his little home. He would tuck his blue-grey feathers close to his body, pull his neck in, and wait for the darkness to pass. There was no sleep in his eyes, only a restless fear. For him, the night was not a time of peace, but a time of constant worry.
CHAPTER 2: THE PROMISE OF THE WISE BANYAN
It was an evening when the day was taking its final breaths. An amazing and fleeting painting of colors had emerged across the sky. The sun had not yet fully set, but its light was now tired, and a magnificent layer of golden (a deep glow of yellow) and purple (a mix of dark blue and red) spread across the horizon. Usually, this was the most peaceful and mysterious time in the forest, but for COCO, it was a sign of his growing fear.
