SUMMARY:
During summer break, 12-year-old Aryan and his sister Ruhani discover the 'Shadow Library' in Shantivan. The librarian, Mr. Rumal Singh, reveals a grim truth: stories are dying. Forgotten tales are being erased by Shadow Guardians in Chhayalok, an invisible realm. Entering through a secret tunnel, the siblings realize they are now part of the story—and if they fail to save it, they will be erased too.
To revive the dying tales, they must unlock the magical book 'Nav-Lekh' using three relics: the Lamp of Courage, the Quill of Memories, and the Page of Silence. By facing their deepest fears and honouring their friendship, they overcome dangerous trials to secure the keys.
In the end, they restore Chhayalok by recording the lost stories in 'Nav-Lekh'. Returning home, they learn their own adventure is now immortalized on the library shelves. Their journey proves that those who protect stories truly transcend time.

ARYAN AND THE SHADOW LIBRARY
THE SECRET OF THE THREE KEYS
CHAPTER 1: THE OLD LIBRARY

Aryan and Ruhani’s summer vacations meant having a blast at their grandparents' home in Shantivan. Despite its name, every day here held a hidden new adventure.
It was a gloomy, sticky afternoon. The sun was hidden behind dark clouds and a heavy rain had begun. As the siblings were passing through a narrow alley, they spotted a strange building. It wasn’t a house, nor a temple, but an old, massive stone structure with a rusted iron gate.
"Aryan, look! What is this?" Ruhani said, shaking water from her umbrella. There was less fear in her voice and more curiosity.
Aryan approached the gate and cleared the moss covering it. There, amidst the dust and spiderwebs, something was engraved. He read it aloud:
“The Shadow Library – For the Curious Only”
"Ugh, a library! How boring!" Ruhani made a face.
